Even the notoriously slow waiters can't dampen our enthusiasm for the food prepared in this restaurant's tiny, deli-style kitchen. But do note the slow service probably rules out firm after-dinner plans unless you eat early. The three-cheese lasagna topped with marinara is always reliable, as is shrimp focaccia -- a homemade bread with basil pesto and mozzarella. We also recommend the spinach and ricotta brioche topped with marinara (there goes the cholesterol). Diners rest elbows on marble tables and order from a handwritten menu. Eating at White Wolf evokes the sensation of going to a party at a slightly pretentious loft. There's a small wine and beer menu, the latter including microbrews.
