U.S. Navy veteran "Typhoon" Lou Maran launched his magic show in spring 2000. It's something of a gamble given the number of International Drive shows that have come and gone in the last decade, but its novelty may give it a small edge (and a niche) over the dearly departed -- and also earns it a star. Lou and his friends combine illusions, digital sound, and special effects for a 90-minute performance that is better than several of the tourist trappings on I-Drive. Here's hoping they're not a now-you-see-them, now-you-don't story. Allow 2 hours.
