Tucked away on the grounds of the Pali Ke Kua condo complex, this dinner-only restaurant features a range of American favorites prepared with an island-style twist. Shrimp is not just shrimp but South Sea pineapple shrimp, the chicken has a tropical sauce, and the fresh local fish is prepared several different ways. For those just looking for a good ol' steak, you can find it here, along with pork tenderloin and a range of appetizers from steamed clams to Hawaii poke. The Beamreach (a sailing term meaning the wind is hitting the boat on either the port or starboard side) is nautically decorated with throw nets and murals depicting Hawaiian myths. Budget hint: Sunset specials from 5:30 to 6:30pm can save you a bundle.
