It's just a tiny place on an uninteresting stretch of Southeast Hawthorne Boulevard, but chef/owner Ken Gordon turns out dishes here that would do justice to the best restaurants in town. More than a dozen entrees are available daily, such as salmon-mushroom strudel, seafood and andouille sausage gumbo, Moroccan chicken pie, and Asian barbecued ribs. That's if you can get past the incredibly delicious grilled sandwiches that come with a side of any of more than half a dozen different salads. Desserts such as marble cheesecake brownies and luscious fruit cobblers are prominently displayed on the countertop, making them very difficult to ignore.
