In fine weather, you can dine outdoors under a large umbrella; otherwise, sit in the simple yet elegant European-style cafe, outfitted with brocade upholstered booths, white tablecloths, fresh flowers, and wrought-iron chandeliers. The lunch menu offers burgers and a variety of sandwiches, such as the grilled vegetable with sweet onions, zucchini, mushrooms, roasted red peppers, and provolone cheese on homemade focaccia. Dinner brings such main courses as honey ginger glazed duck breast, served with jasmine rice; grilled flank steak with garlic mashed potatoes and a wild mushroom sauce; and baked halibut with a corn pancake, served on a bed of artichoke hearts and asparagus. There's also a variety of pastas and unusual pizzas with toppings such as shrimp and artichoke hearts. The cafe serves a mean lemonade, too, and offers espresso and full liquor service.
