Teatro Colón

Known across the world for its impeccable acoustics, the Colón has attracted the world's finest opera performers -- Luciano Pavarotti, Julio Bocca, Maria Callas, Plácido Domingo, and Arturo Toscanini among them. Opera season runs from April to November, and the Colón has its own philharmonic orchestra, ballet, and choir companies. The main theater seats 2,500.
