The two French wine lovers who own Kilometre came to Chile to sample its varietals and ended up opening this bistro to offer what is possibly the best wine list in town. There are nearly 150 varieties of Chilean wine on the menu, including export varieties you won't find in stores. Each week they choose a special, expensive wine by the glass to try so you won't have to buy an entire bottle. The food includes French staples such as foie gras, baked goat cheese, duck confit, tarte tatin, fish, and meats. Lunch is only available on Friday, when there is a fixed-price menu for $11. The terrific patio has an outdoor seating area and a bar.
