La Tasca is part restaurant, part cafe, and dinner or lunch may be served at either side from the same menu. The cozy restaurant has long, dark wood tables, wood beams, and white stucco walls; the cafe features tiny, candlelit tables with red tablecloths. The simple Mediterranean dishes include meats and fish seasoned with homemade ingredients, and there is a good selection of wine by the glass. The staff is friendly, and there is jazz piano in the cafe starting at midnight on Saturday.
