A soothing break from hectic Avenida Providencia, the location at the back of a tranquil little plaza is just one thing that makes this vegetarian restaurant so enjoyable. Fresh salads include Greek, chef, Chinese, and more, and all vegetables come from the owner's organic farm. El Patio offers several seafood dishes as well, such as shrimp and mushroom ceviche, all served by good-looking waiters dressed in black. This restaurant is especially nice when jazz musicians play on Thursday and Friday. There are a few tables outside in the dark wood-and-glass-walled patio.
