Chiang Mai's newest and best highrise hotel is isolated across the river just south of town. The attractive lobby is both spacious and welcoming, and the staff is friendly and well-trained. The River Terrace Restaurant serves the best buffet lunch in Chiang Mai, a particularly good bargain at 200B ($8).
