In addition to the neighborhood establishments listed here, there are a number of excellent bars in most of the major hotels, and many are mellow enough for friendly conversation. Two of the best are the Lobby Lounge at the Ritz-Carlton Buckhead, 3434 Peachtree Road (tel. 404/237-2700; MARTA: Peachtree Center.), and Park 75 Lounge in the Four Seasons Atlanta Hotel, 75 Fourteenth St., in Midtown (tel. 404/253-3840, ask for the Lounge; MARTA: Arts Center). The Sundial Restaurant and Lounge, high atop the Westin Peachtree Plaza Hotel, 210 Peachtree St. (tel. 404/589-7506; MARTA: Peachtree Center.), and A Point of View at Nikolai's Roof in the Hilton Atlanta, 255 Courtland St. (tel. 404/874-6505; MARTA: Peachtree Center.), have spectacular views of the city skyline. None of the places listed here charge a cover unless otherwise stated.
