Doc Chey's Noodle House--This casual neighborhood favorite has two special children's entrees, but there are several other rice and noodle dishes that would appeal to the younger set.

Heaping Bowl and Brew--If you're visiting Turner Field, Grant Park, or Zoo Atlanta, this casual restaurant, with its reasonably priced comfort food, is just a short drive away.

Fellini's Pizza--The New York-style pizza that Fellini's serves is a treat that will please everyone, and it's available by the slice. Salads are also superb, and you can sit outside if you choose.

Fratelli di Napoli--A big, bustling SoHo-like loft, Fratelli's bases its entire concept on feeding a family, offering big platters of food that serve two or three. It's sophisticated enough to interest the adults and friendly enough to welcome the kids.

Houston's--There are always lots of families in Houston's, where there's prime rib for the grown-ups, burgers for the kids, and reasonable prices that won't bust the budget. It's casual, but still a good place to take the family for a special occasion.

Mick's--This local chain serves the simple foods kids love at moderate prices. Even the teenagers will like the retro-hip soda shop atmosphere.

OK Café--OK Café's classic comfort food and jukebox are sure to please kids of all ages.

Pasta Vino--Do kids like this place? One 3-year-old from the neighborhood insisted on having his birthday party here so he could have his favorite--a slice of white cheese pizza with pesto. There's plenty for parents too, including fresh veal, seafood, and excellent lasagna.

The Varsity--The greasy feasts at the world's largest drive-in restaurant are big kid-pleasers.

The Vortex--The flea market décor and big, juicy hamburgers at this wild bar and grill should satisfy any kid.
