The city's best theater takes place at the Teatro Nacional Cervantes, Calle Libertad 815 (tel. 11/4816-4224). Teatro Opera, Av. Corrientes 860 (tel. 11/4326-1335), has been adapted for Broadway-style shows. The Teatro Municipal General San Martín, Av. Corrientes 1530 (tel. 0800/333-5254), has three theaters offering drama, comedy, ballet, music, and children's plays. In Recoleta, Teatro Coliseo, Marcelo T. de Alvear 1125 (tel. 11/4816-5943), puts on classical music productions. Teatro Presidente Alvear, Av. Corrientes 1659 (tel. 11/4374-6076), features tango and other music shows. The majority of foreign and national music concerts are held at the Teatro Gran Rex, Av. Corrientes 857 (tel. 11/4322-8000).
