Dining: Providencia Frommer

Avenida Suecia in Providencia and the several streets that surround it are commonly referred to as gringolandia, or "little America," for its eerie resemblance to a commercial center in the United States. Happy hours and a couple of restaurants serving typical American food, including Cajun, can be found here, but opinions about the neighborhood are mixed. Either way, there are a few gems to be rooted out here, and a few bars good for a nightcap. The best way to find them is to simply head over and take a look.
