Mount La Crosse
Skiers and riders have been enjoying Mt. Lacross since 1959. It has one of Wisconsin's longest ski runs in Mileaway, and Mid-America's steepest trail in Damnation. With a big vertical drop for the Badger State at 512 feet, this is as close to Vermont's famed Stowe ski area as you'll find in the heartland. There's a wide range of skiing and riding, and the St. Bernard Bar is always a favorite watering hole for apres-ski. Mt. Lacrosse has been under new ownership the last few years.
