RealPlayer

If you want to watch the RealVideo version of a video clip, you will need:
Here are some common problems you may encounter while using RealPlayer, and some suggested solutions:

Problem: Your browser doesn't recognize RealPlayer and is displaying a broken plug-in icon.

Solution: Try closing your browser application and then reopening it. The RealPlayer software should configure your browser for you when it is installed; however, you must exit your browser application in order for all the player components to be installed correctly.
Solution: If you changed or reinstalled browsers, or if RealPlayer couldn't find your browser when it installed itself, try running the installation again. This is good to try for any playback problem.
Solution: Try restarting your computer.

Problem: You get a "Server Not Responding" message when you try to play a video clip.

Solution: If you are accessing the Internet from a corporate, educational, or government location, a security "firewall" could be blocking transmission. If this is the case, you should be able to watch video by selecting "Preferences" then "Transport" from RealPlayer's View menu. Make sure that "Automatically select most efficient transport" is selected.
Solution: Visit the RealNetworks site for more information on playing content through a firewall.
Solution: Our RealVideo server may be down. Please e-mail us and let us know.
